High school football state finals to air statewide exclusively on Arkansas PBS beginning Dec. 5

Live AR PBS Sports coverage to begin at 7 p.m.; special segments to recognize student-athletes across state

CONWAY, Ark. (Arkansas PBS) — Arkansas PBS will broadcast the 2024 Centennial Bank High School Football Championships live from War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock beginning Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. in partnership with the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA). Live coverage begins with the 8-man final and continues with the class 7A-2A finals. Games will be available at myarpbs.org/watchsports.

AR PBS Sports will be broadcast statewide over the air, on cable and on satellite on Arkansas PBS’s primary channel.

The Arkansas high school football state finals will air live on AR PBS Sports at the following times:

  • Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. – 8-Man Championship.
  • Friday, Dec. 6, at noon – 2A Championship.
  • Friday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m. – 5A Championship.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, at noon – 6A Championship.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, at 6:30 p.m. – 7A Championship.
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, at noon – 4A Championship.
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. – 3A Championship.


In the week following the finals, games will be available to watch at myarpbs.org/watchsports, allowing coaches, players, families, college recruiters and others to watch at their convenience.

Throughout the state finals, AR PBS Sports will present profiles of outstanding student-athletes from each division.
