“Midsomer Murders”
Season 23 will premiere Saturday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. with back-to-back episodes.
Season 23 sees us back in the fictional picturesque English county of Midsomer. Each episode follows DCI Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon) and his trusty sidekick, DS Jamie Winter (Nick Hendrix), as they endeavor to solve perplexing crimes while also exploring the quirks of this delightful yet deadly county. The duo finds themselves thrust into new weird, wonderful worlds, from doomsday prepping and police retirement villages to artisan bakeries, where lurking beneath the surface of these chocolate box villages lie eccentric characters and peculiar murders. As ever, DCI Barnaby and DS Winter are joined by the inimitable pathologist Dr. Fleur Perkins (Annette Badland), his wife Sara (Fiona Dolman), daughter Better and loveable dog Paddy. Season 23 will premiere Saturday, Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. with back-to-back premiere episodes.
“Vienna Blood”
Season 4 of “Vienna Blood” will be available for streaming on Arkansas PBS Passport the night of its broadcast premiere on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 9:30 p.m.
“Vienna Blood” – “Vienna Blood” is back after two years in its fourth and final season, which revolves around a single story — entitled “Mephisto Waltz.” It’s Vienna, 1909, and the double murder of an arms dealer in police custody and a senior public official has shaken Vienna to its core. Season 4 of “Vienna Blood” will be available for streaming on Arkansas PBS Passport the night of its broadcast premiere on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 9:30 p.m.
“Miss Scarlet”
Season 5 of “Miss Scarlet” premieres on broadcast Sunday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. Season 5 is available for streaming on Arkansas PBS Passport.
“Miss Scarlet” – Kate Phillips is back as Eliza, whose agency is thriving, and her professional life is on a successful path. On the personal side, however, Duke has now been away in New York for several months and Eliza is forced to make a difficult decision. Meanwhile, a new detective inspector comes to Scotland Yard to take the Duke’s place (Alexander Blake, played by Tom Durant-Pritchard) and Eliza must navigate building a relationship with him if she is going to continue having access to police resources. Season 5 of “Miss Scarlet” premieres on broadcast Sunday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. Season 5 is available for streaming on Arkansas PBS Passport.
“All Creatures Great and Small”
