Congratulations to Marcie Brushhaber for winning the 2024-2025 Winter Professional Development Challenge presented by ArkansasIDEAS!
Ms. Brushaber currently teaches at Joe T. Robinson Elementary School in Little Rock. She completed all 8 of the required courses to be entered in the challenge that was held from Dec. 12, 2024 – Jan. 10, 2025.
Educators from across the state participated. We are excited to report record-breaking participation this year with nearly 200 participants who earned more than 1,900 credit hours of educational training over the holiday break. The Winter Professional Development Challenge promotes education initiatives from ArkansasIDEAS and encourages educators to maintain their educational training throughout the year.

Attention Arkansas educators! Catch up on your professional development hours with the sixth annual ArkansasIDEAS Winter Professional Development Challenge. Professional development helps you reflect on your teaching practices, discover different classroom strategies and build new skills.
Now through Jan. 12, Arkansas teachers can win an exciting educational prize package from ArkansasIDEAS. Take all eight campaign courses seen in the graphic below, and you can enter! If you have already completed a course listed before the start of the challenge – no worries! You have a head start! Courses may be completed in any order.
The challenge runs from Dec. 12 to Jan. 12. Upon completion, please send an email, along with your Arkansas Educator Licensure System (AELS) number and school of employment to education@myarkansaspbs.org for verification.
