Arkansas Live
Diving into the Little Rock Touchdown Club
What is it?
Arkansas PBS is excited to announce that we will be the livestreaming provider for the Little Rock Touchdown Club, giving viewers statewide a coveted front-row seat to talks by NFL Hall of Famers, veteran coaches, sports analysts and other noted figures from the world of sports, as part of our Arkansas Live streaming initiative, so that you can have a seat in the room.
The Little Rock Arkansas Touchdown Club was founded in August of 2004, with 17 members. Now, it has grown to over 500 members and is one of the nation’s largest football clubs. Club members meet every Monday at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Little Rock during football season. This club is a place for football fans to gather and discuss the current events and happenings in the football world.
Head football coaches from the three major football-playing colleges in the state, ESPN hosts, SEC reporters and former pro players come to speak at weekly meetings. The club even had a record crowd of 1,300 come to hear Peyton Manning talk about his life on and outside of the field.
