Congratulations to Terry Wisener for winning the 2022-23 Winter Professional Development Challenge presented by ArkansasIDEAS!
Arkansas educators had the opportunity to wrap up their professional development hours this holiday season for a chance to win a grand prize package of educational materials. Teachers know that having the right supplies in the classroom can enrich student learning and make classroom management easier.
Mrs. Wisener is a science teacher with Caddo Hills School District, teaching high school science classes including biology, physical science, earth science and environmental science. Caddo Hills High School is located near Caddo Gap in west Arkansas.
She completed all nine of the required courses, plus a course from LinkedIn Learning, to be entered in the challenge that was held from Dec. 9, 2022 – Jan. 10, 2023. Educators from across the state participated, including teachers from Texas and Kentucky who are keeping their licenses current. The competition had 60 participants who earned more than 560 credit hours of educational training over the holiday break. The Winter Professional Development Challenge promotes education initiatives from ArkansasIDEAS and encourages educators to maintain their educational training throughout the year.
